Services Provided
Clark Care Counseling Initiative currently provides online mental health support through the following services:
- Individual counseling sessions
- Crisis emotional support
- Psychoeducation and mental health awareness
Counseling sessions are conducted online through Google Meet and typically last 50–60 minutes. Each client currently receives up to three free counseling sessions, with additional sessions available on a donation-based basis for clients who wish to continue therapy. Services are provided primarily in Burmese, with the ability to support clients from different cultural backgrounds.
Who We Serve
Target Population
Clark Care Counseling Initiative primarily serves Myanmar migrants, refugees, and displaced individuals living abroad. The service focuses on adults aged 18 and above, without restriction based on gender, sexual orientation, or background, including LGBTQ+ individuals.
Challenges We Address
Many clients face challenges such as:
- Trauma related to conflict in Myanmar
- Displacement stress
- Cultural adjustment difficulties
- Financial insecurity
- Job-related stress
- Social anxiety
- Childhood trauma
- Social isolation
Current Reach
Currently, clients are located in Thailand, South Korea, and Dubai. Most clients are Myanmar migrants living in Thailand, including undocumented migrants, job seekers, and students.
