Gum Raing Tue
(Founder & Executive Director / Counselor)
Gum Raing Tue holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychological Science (Social Psychology) at Chulalongkorn University. He has over five years of experience working in mental health and psychosocial support across humanitarian, NGO, and community-based settings. His work has focused on providing counseling, psychosocial support, and mental health training for refugees, migrants, and conflict-affected communities. He has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, relationship counseling, and stress management. As the founder of Clark Care Counseling, he leads program coordination, service delivery, and client assessment to support Myanmar migrants and refugees.
Dr. Ei Ei Mon
Co-founder/ Program Manager / Counselor
Dr. Ei Ei Mon is a medical doctor and psychiatrist with over seven years of experience in clinical practice and humanitarian mental health response. She specializes in trauma-informed psychosocial counseling for forcibly displaced persons, political activists, and individuals in conflict-affected settings. She has extensive experience providing tele-counseling and psychiatric consultations for populations in restricted-access areas and has contributed to capacity-building initiatives, including mhGAP and Psychological First Aid (PFA) training. She holds an MMed.Sc in Psychiatry from the University of Medicine (2), Myanmar, and is currently a candidate in the Clinical Psychology Diploma Program of the Myanmar Clinical Psychology Consortium.
Chachareeya Marica
Program Development Executive
Chachareeya Marica holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from Mae Fah Luang University and has over three years of experience in humanitarian work with Myanmar migrants, refugees, and displaced populations.
Her professional experience spans roles as a Case Manager, Social Worker, and Education Officer (Child Development) with NGOs and INGOs working across urban refugee settings in Bangkok and border communities in Mae Sot. Her work has focused on protection case management, psychosocial support, child development, and coordination with community-based and multi-stakeholder partners.
She joins Clark Care Counseling Initiative with a strong commitment to improving access to compassionate, dignified, and culturally sensitive mental health and psychosocial support for vulnerable communities.
Tracy
Senior Counselor
Tracy is a Master of Social Work student specializing in Mental Health at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. She holds a degree from the University of Nursing in Mandalay and has over 7 years of experience working with NGOs and civil society organizations that support marginalized communities. Her work has focused on mental health services for Kachin internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugee populations along the Thailand–Myanmar border. Tracy currently provides counseling through her private practice and volunteers as a counselor at Clark Care Counseling, using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches such as CBT, ACT, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Gracy
Volunteer Counselor
Gracy is currently pursuing an MSc in Psychology at the University of Sunderland, UK. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from the Liberal Arts Program at MIT University, where she also completed an elective in counseling, developing her interest in mental health and psychological support. Following her graduation, she volunteered at a COVID-19 center, providing patient care and emotional support during a critical time. She has also been actively involved in community work, contributing to initiatives that promote well-being and social support. She is passionate about supporting individuals through emotional challenges and is committed to developing her skills in counseling through evidence-based and empathetic approaches.
Dr. Israel Ying Ding
Senior Counselor
Israel Ying Ding is a mental health counselor with over five years of experience
supporting individuals in humanitarian and crisis-affected settings.
He is a WHO mhGAP-trained medical doctor, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing (UK). Over the course of his career, he has received extensive training in mental health and psychosocial support and has worked with UN agencies and international humanitarian organizations. He is known for his compassionate, respectful, and client-centered approach, and is committed to providing a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their difficulties and work toward healing and wellbeing.
Bawm Nu
Counselor
Bawm Nu Mangshang is a compassionate counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their mental health journey. His passion for counseling grew from his own experience of healing through therapy, inspiring him to provide the same safe and supportive space for others.
Bawm Nu practices from a person-centered approach, believing that every individual has the capacity for growth, resilience, and positive change. He creates a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences.
Known for his calm presence, empathy, and attentive listening, Bawm Nu works collaboratively with clients to better understand the challenges they face and to discover meaningful paths toward healing and personal growth. He is fluent in English, Burmese, and Jinghpaw (Kachin) and is passionate about supporting people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Karolina
Clinical Supervisor
Karolina is a Polish clinical professional based in Poland, currently serving as a clinical supervisor for counselors at Clark Care Counseling Initiative. She holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Psychology and has completed four years of specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Karolina is an experienced practitioner who works with a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches. She is also actively involved in managing and running three clinics across Poland, where she provides mental health services and oversees clinical work. With her strong clinical background, she offers ongoing supervision and guidance to ensure the quality and effectiveness of counseling services at Clark Care.
San Htoi Lun
Admin (Volunteer)
San Htoi Lun oversees administrative operations for Clark Care Counseling Initiative, supporting the organization’s mission to expand accessible, affordable, and culturally sensitive mental health care for Myanmar migrants and refugees. He holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and the Environment from Cornell University, where he specialized in wildlife conservation in armed-conflict regions in the northern part of Myanmar. His academic work included ethnographic research in Kachin society, ethnic armed conflict, and international nature conservation efforts. He is currently working as a Burmese medical interpreter providing culturally informed language support across medical, legal, insurance, finance, and public sectors. His background in conflict-sensitive research and cross-cultural communication strengthens the organization’s efforts to reduce barriers to mental health care and ensure safe counseling services for Myanmar migrants living overseas.
